Random

Recently when the baby gets in one of her hard kicks in, I just wanna laugh. It tickles! I think that is so funny, and cute. She already knows how to make her Mom smile. She tickles my insides, must be like her Dad cause he loves to tickle people. Usually me till I'm crying.

She has an Attitude!

Today I went to the Doctor for a check-up. 22 Weeks today YEAH!! 18 left. Anyways everything is going great. Passed all my test for spina bifida, down syndrom, , no heart defects, ect., ect.... Anyways, so she is doing great, but the Doctor said "She has an attitude!" He had to chase her around with the machine to get her heart beat today. He would get it then almost immediately she would move, after 3 moves he finally got it long enought to say she was on schedule and everything sounded great. That is always great news. Everyone that tries to feel her usually can't because she is a little stink, she will kick and kick and kick (she is a little mover) but as soon as someone goes to put their hand there she quits, then as soon as they are gone she is kicking again, she does not like to be touched or looked at we have no idea what her face looks like cause she won't ever look at us, and everyone that ever tries to ultrasound her or even listen to her heart has to chase her, litterally, hopefully that changes a little when she gets here. On a good note, she will let her Daddy feel her everyonce in awhile. We are just excited to get her here.

It's a Girl!!!

We'll we had a fun time at the big ultrasound we brought our moms along and I think they enjoyed it. We'll the majority was right it is definitely a little GIRL when we first looked we had a couple seconds she was head down with her legs straight up. But a few seconds later she moved right down into her normal curled position not letting anyone peak at her anymore. We never got to see her face, because she kept that well hid :) Guess she doesn't like her picture taken :) She kept running away it was kinda funny. She gave a tech a run for her money she was having a hard time getting her to move so we could make sure all her organs were good. Everything looks great she is growing right on schedule, and they couldn't find anything out of the ordinary so that is wonderful news. So I guess we'll probably name her Kaylee or Kaitlynn, but were going to wait and see what she looks like when she is born.

They had to poke me lots and push lots to get her moving, (my tummy is a little sore) but it didn't really work, she would wiggle a little and stay curled up but they finally did get to look at everything they needed too. On a cute note Josh I thought was going to have a fit, for some reason he just doesn't like anyone poking at his little girl. He kept worrying that they were going to hurt her with all the poking. He's so cute, he even gets mad at me when I give her a little poke to get her to move :)

Wish us luck :)

We'll tomorrow is the big ultrasound were we hope they have better luck peeking at the baby then the doctor did. It sure likes to hide :) Anyways we are way excited. So we will keep you updated as to if the baby cooperates or not. The votes are overwellming girl. Just on the blog there are 9 for boys 15 for girls, so I guess we'll see if who voted right tomorrow :) Both Josh and I have a feeling it might be a girl, but aren't 100% sure. Josh says if it is a boy it will be a GOOD suprise :)

Where to start?

We have been busy, busy, busy...

Between Doctor, Denist appointments, and trying to get girls camp ready. For a little back ground on girls camp, it is a stake girls camp so most of it was planned, but I was called to be an assitant to the director three weeks ago, with the director also being called 3 weeks ago, so everything seemed rushed trying to figure out what was going on and trying to pull everything together in those couple of weeks...

Anyway...

Sat. June 27, 2009

Since I was leaving town for a couple of days Josh wanted to throw a quick date in before we left. So us and a couple neighbors headed to the drive-in's kinda planned at the last minute, luckily our neighbors are some of our dearest friends and live with-in probably a quarter mile, so it is really easy to just hurry and go. We had so much fun, we went and saw the proposal which I liked but it really could've done without a part. Then the second movie was Up and Josh absolutly loved it.

On that note we had lots of fun, the baby has been moving like crazy, well unless your trying to do an ultrasound then it doesn't cooperate. But anyway late that night Josh was able to feel the baby kick 3 times, so that was really fun. He was like "Wow, I felt it 3 times." We were both surprised he felt it since you usually can't feel it so early on the outside. So that was pretty neat.

Sun. June 28

Our neighbors joined us for a little US soccer, as it was the playoffs. USA vs. Brazil. The USA did so well, but ended up loosing in the end. Oh well still fun. Then we went to my moms for a little dinner.

Mon. June 29 - July 2

GIRLS CAMP

Warning this might not be the best idea if you are pregnant!

I had tons of fun, but I have never been so tired in all my life, the baby thinks my bladder is it's trampaline so there were lots, and lots of bathroom stops. For the most part camp was so fun, they were all delightful. The girls are darling, and the leaders were amazing, I think I have a few new closer friends in the ward now. The girls got a kick out of seeing how many times I would go the bathroom in a day. Also they thought it was neat to try and feel the baby kick, one girl actually felt it the others ended up just trying to feel where the lump (baby) was that day :) They were so cute! The first night/day was really hard for everyone, some of the girls weren't getting along so we had LOTS of drama, but they worked out there differences and the rest of the trip was great. The first night was not so good for me either, I got up every hour to go the bathroom, and then I started to get sick, so I finally fell asleep around 5 am, and then was up at 7 am, at about 3 am I was ready to pack up and go home. I said a prayer and made it through, thank goodness. Because the rest of the trip was great. I got along really well after that. Now I'm just super worn out.
