Easter...

Well we have been waiting for Easter for a couple of weeks now, to announce WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY! We are super excited. The official due date is Nov. 24, 2009. We still have a long way to go, but are very very excited, and glad we don't have to hold in the secret anymore. Oh and Happy Easter Everyone! We spent the day visiting family. Although we haven't caught everyone quite yet.

Here are Baby's First Pictures

Congrats,
I am so excited for you. I thought it would be hard for me when you got pregnant but I am okay. I am very happy for you.

I'm completely sympathetic bro. I spend about 1/4 my time being excited, the other 3/4 being completely terrified out of my mind.

If you have any tips let me know.

Tip #1: Completely put it out of mind as often as possible. This reduces the amount of time you spend freaking out substantially.

Tip #2: Read up a bit about what to expect. I can recommend some books if you're interested.

Tip #3: When you're done reading the books, put it out of mind again as often as possible. Tell your wife you're just pre-occupied with work. It's worked for me for the past 7 months.

Tip #4: Tell your wife you'll dedicate a lot of thought to the pregnancy and child in the last month of the pregnancy. This way you can continue to put it out of mind until the last possible minute. This makes you a terrible husband, but helps preserve your sanity as long as possible.

Tip #5: When you can't put it out of mind any longer, freak out for a day or two and spend all of that time playing video games with me to help you forget about it for another day or two.

Tip #6: Accept it... :(

Tips 1-5 are fantastic! No guarantee on tip #6. As soon as I'm done typing this it's going out of my mind for 6 months. Please, no one bring it up or mention it when i'm around. Thank you.
